Boonah is the largest town and administrative centre of the area known as the Fassifern, a part of the Great South East. Other towns in the area include Aratula, Dugandan, Kalbar, Mt. Alford and Roadvale.

Although only 86 kms. from Brisbane BBB is a world away. If you want stress, pollution and crime we suggest you stay away as you will be disappointed. If you want a beautifully scenic area that offers a multitude of different experiences then BBB is for you.
